The first year we lived in Richmond I hosted a Cookie Exchange with ladies from the neighborhood and some of my local friends. It was fun, BUT, making that many cookies was a LOT of work, so the following year I came up with the idea of a Wine and Ornament Exchange. We each bring a bottle of wine and an ornament. We draw numbers and we go from there. Some years there is a lot of trading/stealing going on, but this year I think we only had a few back and fourths. It is a lot of fun and a good middle of the week treat for us Mom's to get in some girl-time. Every year we have a few new folks, hopefully we will have even more ladies next year.
Bed time for the girls was a bit hectic for Brad, what with Avery waking up just as we were putting Olivia down, and Avery screaming her face off and then Olivia winding up, good gracious. Avery is still a fussy mess, and sleeping like absolute poo. Lets hope she gets those two front teeth for Christmas...
