And no, we aren't talking about how George Bush declared Mission Accomplished in what felt like 43 years ago about a War we are still fighting, we are seriously declaring Mission Accomplished in Operation Holiday Card Picture 2009. It was a long, well fought battle, one that at times looked like Olivia was going to claim victory, but I powered through and overcame the challenges of working with a 2 year old and 9 month old and ta-da, we have our Holiday Card pictures taken, edited, and on their way to our card designer - amen, halla-lu-ya, glory to God in the highest, peace to his people on Earth and though the mountains may fall and the hills turn to dust, we got our 2009 Holiday Card into production.
And if you caught a little reference in there to my favorite hymn "Though the Mountains May Fall" - a big high five goes out to you.

Oh girl, good for you! I had to do 3 separate pics because after much sweat and frustration and ringing of jingle bells, clapping loudly, and cheerfully shouting their names it was Mission Impossible to get a 6 year old and 2 10 month olds to look (much less smile) at the same time, while keeping a very nosey little pooch off of them! Post the pic, I can't wait to see it! :)
isn't that a job? then they come in the mail and you have to address them all!! I know, I just finished that job. Whew!
