Family Movie Night & Pizza

Last Night we had our very first Family Movie Night...it was a semi-success. We watched Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure, which was Olivia's choice, but Avery only sat through the first 5 or 6 minutes before she was up and playing babies. Olivia lasted a little longer, but about 20 minutes into it, she changed her mind and wanted to watch a different movie...we realized after the same thing happened tonight during Elmo in Grouchland, that she wants to change movies when she gets scared, I just told her to crawl into Brad's lap, My Dad's lap always worked for me when I was a little girl and scared. The good news story about movie night is that it was fairly peaceful for a solid hour, even if the girls weren't watching the movie, they played in peace. Olivia read the LL Bean catalog about 43 times while she watched the movie and Avery played babies.

Brad and Olivia made our dinner...she loves to make homemade pizza and I think Brad equally loves sharing the experience with her. Last night we mixed it up (only because we didn't have pizza sauce and were too lazy to go back to the store) and used pasta sauce, it was delicious.

We changed all the clocks in the house around 6pm, and did our best to keep the girls up until 9+pm (which was really 8 on their clocks). Avery was falling asleep on our bed, she could barely keep her little eyes open, sweet girl.
