Commence Avery's Birth Month

Also, forgot to mention that we are going to be celebrating Avery this month, I mean DUH, it is her month of birth...today we are going to celebrate that despite being blue at birth, she is healthy as an ox today. For those of you that know her birth story you know that I was only able to hold her for a second before I insisted they check her out, I was one worried Momma, and for good reason it turns out...

A few minutes after birth they were able to work some magic on her and some of her color came back, as you can tell by the photo above, I was able to hold her for another quick second before they wisked her away to the Nursery and then onto her final destination, the NICU.

And here you have her waiting to be transported to the NICU, Brad was able to escort her so he managed to snap a few more shots of her to bring back to me since I was confined to the bed (God Bless the epidural).

And this is what she looked like before being hooked to all the machines and before she was confined to her bed for a few days...Sweet Baby Avery.
