I am surprised our local postal union hadn't started calling in complaints at the sight of our mailbox...it was approaching atrocious and with Molly & Insley recently giving their mailboxes some love, I thought it was only right to get with the program.
BEFORE:
Dismal Curb Appeal...
Doesn't look horrific from afar, but up close....holy smokes its making my eyes sting.
AFTER:
It is amazing what a little spray paint can do. A little glossy black for the mailbox, some white to freshen up the pole, some new numbers and a flag and all we need is someone with a green thumb to bless me with their talents and work some magic on that pitiful looking flower bed. That is a job for the Fall To Do List...
We've received a thank you note from the mail carrier...her eyes too were starting to sting with each delivery, and now they feel like they are seeing for the first time...kidding of course.
