Pre-Idaho Weekend

We had a great quiet weekend, just the five of us last weekend (Riley included of course). Not too much to note, a fun, casual dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger with the Koehlers, some Molly and Leigh Shopping Time, some QT outside and oh yeah...Riley learned to swim. That's right folks, after 5 years of life...all of which he has had webbed feet, ya know, those feet that are crafted by the man upstairs to aid in the pursuit of waterfowl...and he has never used the gifts God gave him...until now.

This photo isn't proof, but I can't seem to locate the one where he is fully submerged..its impressive stuff.

The family took a walk...to see Reese and Amy's Boat.

Preparing for the walk...

Olivia riding her new bike...

She really tried...

But she just couldn't get over Avery having more fun than her and had to join in.

Then we had to clean Daddy's Bike...

Avery was a big helper as you can see

Then I made Taco Soup...

1-2lbs of Ground Beef - brown and mix with a package of Taco Seasoning
1 Can of Creamed Corn
2 Cans of Pinto Beans
2 Cans of Light Red Kidney Beans
2 Cans of Diced Tomatoes
1 Can of Rotel
1 Package of Taco Seasoning - in addition to the one you mixed with the meat
1 Package of Dry Ranch Dressing

Mix it all together in the Crock Pot and let it cook for a few hours. Serve with Frito Scoops, Sour Cream and Shredded Cheese - DELICIOUS.
