First of many...

Last night Brad and I stepped out on our first real date night with a legit babysitter. (of many, we already have them on the calender, written down in my hot pink planner from the red bench).
Ciara (sounds like a rapper, I know, but totally not), arrived around 6:45pm, we ended up putting Avery down before we left so she just basically had to play with Olivia for a bit and then put her to bed. We headed out around 7:35pm, we had reservations at Wild Ginger at 8pm. Olivia was in great hands, Ciara goes to a small Christian school in Florida and wants to be a Kindergarten Teacher, we are just bummed she heads back to school in about a week, she was perfect! So we told Olivia yesterday mid-day that we were going out on a date and that she was going to have a babysitter. So when Ciara (who Olivia called Sarah all night) arrived Olivia said "Hi Babysitter", quite funny if you ask me considering Olivia has never had a babysitter before. They hit it off and were fast friends.

So dinner...Wild Ginger was delicious. We had Edamame and Peppercorn Calamari to start, along with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Then for the main course we had Shrimp Tempura Rolls, Spicy California Rolls and Sweet Potato Rolls (we ordered Spicy Tuna, but somehow it came out Sweet Potato, not sure how that happened, and not sure I liked it, but everything else was wonderful I didn't want to complain).

We then set out for the movies, we saw The Grown Ups, with Adam Sandler, David Spade, Kevin James, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider. It was funny, but not crazy funny considering I was exhausted and wanted so badly to be in bed instead of freezing at the movies. Brad enjoyed popcorn while I enjoyed a Rice Krispie treat from Noodles & Company. Yum!
